Aerial Fitness promotes flexibility, stability, and balance. With a variety of benefits, Aerial Fitness is the perfect addition to any workout regime. Whether you are a beginner or a athletic professional, Tough Lotus has a class that will benefit you.

Our trainers have the experience and training necessary to create a workout that you will enjoy. From Aerial Ballet to Tough Tone, each class brings a new set of challenges and benefits for your body.

Intro to Aerial

Learn everything that you need to know to feel comfortable and safe while participating in Tough Lotus Aerial Fitness classes. Intro to Aerial is mandatory to all NEW Aerial clients.

NEW - Aerial Yoga

Get centered and start your day with Aerial Yoga. This class uses traditional yoga poses with an aerial hammock to define your core strength and sooth your mind.

NEW - Aerial Flex

During Aerial Flex, the hammock is removed and we use the handles to tone muscles all throughout the body. We also use therobands to increase strength and flexibility.

Balanced Lotus

Through deep breaths, we tone and strengthen, creating a calm environment to ease the stress of the day. This is a great low impact workout.

Aerial Ballet

Utilizes traditional ballet techniques and incorporates the aerial hammock to provide your body with long, lean and strong muscles. Great for any fitness level and will increase your balance, posture and flexibility.

Silver Lotus

A low impact class, great for individuals with previous injuries or older in age that want to continue taking care of themselves. We work a variety of muscle groups and provide modifications to each exercise.

Aerial Interval

Intense interval training designed to get your heart pumping. Multiple stations are executed in interval-timed rounds to keep you moving and help you burn those extra calories.*Tennis Shoes Required

Cardio Swing

Get your heart rate up with Cardio Swing. This high impact workout offers nonstop movement and burns tons of calories. The hammock is used for stability and adds a fun twist to this intense workout. *Tennis Shoes Required

Aerial Stretch

Increase your flexibility utilizing a hammock to guide your body. Push yourself at your own pace and watch yourself grow over time. This is an amazing class that is open to all.

Tough Tone

Become strong and toned with this amazing workout. We work everything from arms to legs and core, as the hammock provides the unique ability to work more than one muscle group at a time.

Registration is simple. You can utilize our online registration center or download our app for iPhone or Android. If you are new to Tough Lotus, please fill out our liability waiver and bring it to your first day of class.

Yes. Intro to Aerial is required for all students regardless of your fitness level or experience. We have created a controlled environment to show you the basics of Aerial Fitness and ensure that you will be fully prepared for our 8 other Aerial Fitness classes. Your safety and the safety of others is very important, therefore Intro to Aerial is required.

Yes we do have a weight limit. The weight limit for our facility is 250 lbs. The weight limit is determined by the structural engineering specifications, architects, insurance, and the City of Chandler.

Yes.  All Aerial Fitness classes have an age requirement of 12 years of age.

Bare feet or socks and bring a yoga mat if you have one (I can provide one if you do not have one). Please note that tennis shoes are required for Aerial Interval & Cardio Swing. 

Yes there are a number of medicial considerations for individuals wanting to participate in Aerial Fitness.  If you currently have one of the following conditions, you should not invert or check with your doctor and participate at your own risk.

  • Glaucoma
  • Hypertension
  • Uncompensated Congestive Heart Failure
  • Carotid Artery Stenosis
  • Hiatal Hernia or Spinal Instability
  • Receiving Anticoagulants or Aspirin Therapy
  • Family History of Cerebrovascular Accidents
  • High or Low Blood Pressure
  • History of Stroke or Heart Conditions
  • Pregnancy – Beyond 1st Trimester
  • Excess Weight
  • Epilepsy
  • Eye Problems
  • Inner Ear Problems

Although we would prefer 24 hours notice on all cancellations, we do understand that life happens. Please note that if you have not cancelled within 3 hours of your class, it will be deducted from your account. There are only 16 spots in each class, therefore it is important to not only book in advance, but cancel with as much notice as possible. We truly appreciate your consideration.
