Emily Pavkov

Emily is an Arizona native, born and raised here in the East Valley. She was a competitive dancer growing up, training in styles such as: ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and hip-hop. While in High School and college, Emily taught at many competitive dance studios in the East Valley by choreographing and training young dancers. In May of 2014, Emily graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Dance and Education. Since graduating from ASU, Emily has been the Director of the Dance Department at Red Mountain High School in East Mesa. For the past 4 years, this has been Emily’s main concentration and love. Ultimately, she has a passion for any form of movement. Emily believes there is ALWAYS something new to learn, so she continues to grow as a teacher, dancer and choreographer. Outside of teaching and dancing, Emily loves to spend time with her family. She also loves the outdoors and her favorite activities are snowboarding, going to the lake, fishing, hiking and so much more.
